The Blanket Scenerio

The situation:
    two Rurouni Kenshin characters trapped overnight in a
    single-room cabin in the middle of a blizzard.  It’s so cold
    that falling asleep uncovered will undoubtedly cause
    hypothermia.  One blanket.

Your assignment:
    Create a scenerio for posting.  Go wild.
    And just so you know, I would like to post your version on my
    webpage.  If you don't want it posted, tell me.

On with the fic...

Kenshin & Saitoh   (Not Yaoi)



    The two stared at each other in determination from
    across the room, swords drawn, bodies tense.  The
    blanket lay folded neatly between them.  In this situation,
    the only option was complete possession.

    No words were needed.

    The sharp ring of sword against sword rang out through
    the night.


    Dawn.


    The combatants warily circled each other, looking for
    any weaknesses.  Fresh bruises were beginning to purple
    as the only sound to be heard was their labored
    breathing.  Their eyes, though showing fatigue, were no
    less determined than they had been hours before.

    The blanket, once folded, now lay in indistinguishable
    tatters around the room.  Useless.

    Finally, words.

    “I am NOT sharing a bed with you.”

And since they kept active through the night, they couldn’t
