okie, i'm a tad anal when it comes to camera angels and what-not, and
i like those spilt second like cuts so on certain beats (indicated
with < > marks instead of ( ) ) i might want a certain shot. this song
has a lot of instrumental parts as well so it hard to know exactly
what part i'm talking about so i may just use counts at times ^^;
gomen! enjoy tho. ^^

 

<instrumental intro-
fade into shot of a forest from a summit view, then to a shot of the
canopy from the forest floor, all of a sudden it gives way to reveal
the brightness of the sun which slowly reveals the blue sky. slow pan
from the sky to a back view of Aoshi looking at the 4 gravestones of
Shikijo, Hyottoko, Beshimi and Hanya. pan L to R on a close up of each
stone, and on each you can see a faint, ghostly image of the man it
belongs to on it.>

(slowly close in on Aoshi from back right corner. His hair hides his
eyes.)

<drum beat - front shot of his face, his eyes still hidden in the
shadows of his bangs>

(still closing in on him. "I'm sorry...I cannot give you the honor of
being the strongest yet...but I will...just wait.")

<drum beat - he looks up and you see his eyes are 'dead'>

(he turns away from the grave and begins to walk down a path. there
are 2 roads...one is sunny and blissful, the other dark and
uninviting. he choses the dark path. different shots of him training
in the woods with his new nitou kodachi. at the end you see him use
the Kaiten Kenbu Lokuken on a tree and it falls to pieces and you see
his 'dead' eyes again)

(Misao as a child running around the house happily. "Aoshi-samaaa!
Where are you? Aoshi-samaaa!" She goes to Okina's room out of breathe.
"Jiya!... where is... Aoshi-sama?" Okina slowly looks at her. "He's
gone..." Misao looks at him in disbelief "When... is he coming back?"
Okina bows his head.)

Now there's no point in placing the blame
And you should know I'd suffer the same

(She runs out of his room, down the stairs and out the door. She runs
through the crowded streets hoping... hoping she'll have just one last
chance to catch him. She reaches the end of Kyoto and the
farmlands...there's nothing. back left shot of her standing in the
middle of the road with the setting sun on the mountains just to the
left of her shoulder.Left side shot of her face, the tears now running
down her cheeks. "Aoshi... sama...")

Love is a bird, she needs to fly

(Misao wakes up from her dream/nightmare and reaches her hand out.
"AOSHI-SAMA!" She looks around her but there is nothing. She clenches
her fist. "I'll find you...I will..." And she starts on her
journey/search again. Various shots of her wandering Japan until she
meets you know who...Kenshin)

<instrumental middle part-
Aoshi is walking through the forest with his new saya from his nitou
kodachi. He walks into Tokyo and the Kamiya dojo only to find out that
Kenshin has left for Kyoto. Walking thru the forest once again (I have
thing with forests...i dunno ^^;) and into Kyoto.)

(Aoshi meets up with Okina. They have the same conversation as in the
anime. The last shot is of Aoshi's 'dead' eyes)

(Cut to the fight with Okina and Aoshi. Misao once again running...
trying to make it in time. She witnesses Okina's fall. "Why... why?"
Aoshi walks past her. "I never want to see your face again..." and he
walks on)

(Cut to his fight with Kenshin in Shishio's base, and his "moment of
clarity". The image (that you guys refuse to believe exists) of Misao
crying is in Aoshi's mind as he falls from the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu
ougi Amakakeru Ryuu no Hirameki "Misao... I'm sorry..." He falls.)

(cut to small snipets of the fight with Shishio, then to the Welcome
Back scene at Kyoto. Misao runs up to Aoshi.)

<close up of Aoshi's face. "T... tadaima." close up of Misao, tears
welling in her eyes, but a smile on her face. "Okaeri nasai." She
finally lets her tears fall and with them herself into his arms.
::firm embrace:: fade from a far away shot of them embracing, the
Aoiya and everyone in the background to black )
