Scene: the Kenshin vs. Shishio fight.


Leaf and Flame
 
Two forces, forever opposing.
Life and Death,
Love and Hate.
Two forces, forever fighting.
Peace and War,
Leaf and Flame.

Fire burns with rage,
Hating, destroying.
Screaming flames.
The promise to kill.

Leaf floats on the wind,
Between life and death.
Peaceful memories.
The promise to a morning star.

The fire burns into Hell.
Gone are Death, Hate, War.
Only Life, Love, Peace remain.


If you didn't catch the references… the leaf is Kenshin (remember how in the episode, his ken-ki (warrior spirit) summons leaves?), and the fire is Shishio (self-explanatory I believe). The morning star is Kaoru. ^_^v
