Arrival
    by Sariah DeGidio

Sariah, a young looking 19 year-old standing at 5'6" with short, light brown hair, green eyes (think Hitomi from Escaflowne), and glasses, paced back and forth in the living room and checked her watch yet again. "It's already 3:00! They should be here by now! Wahhhhh! Are they ever going to come!?!"

Her mouto-chan, Becky, a buxom young lass towering at 5'11" with long brown hair and brown eyes (think Naga from Slayers but with more clothing... barely), looked at her from the kitchen. "What are you freaking out about now? Are you actually leaving the house?"

Sariah responded by giving a raspberry in her sister's general direction. "No... I'm waiting for my Live in Anime Characters to show up."

Becky gave a long-suffering sigh and began speaking in a slow, deliberate voice. "Nee-chan... how many times have we discussed this? Anime characters are not real."

"Hmph!" Sariah folded her arms and looked away haughtily.

"... they can't come and live with you," continued Becky.

"They are coming. I registered and the bureau said that they'd arrive today."

"And what were you smoking at the time, hmmm..." said Becky smugly.

Before Sariah could formulate a response, there was a knock at the door.

"Ah! There here! There here!" squealed Sariah as she jumped up and down. Sprinting to the door, she flung it open.

"Hello, I'm here representing Acme Ultra-Perfumed Bath and Body Products here to offer you a special deal on..."

<SLAM>

Sariah screamed as Becky fell over laughing.

*half an hour later*

Becky has finally subsided her laughing and has now joined Sariah on the living room couch. An intermittent "There here!" followed by giggling, a "You know you're nuts, right?" or the occasional "why aren't you sharing whatever you're smoking?" can be heard as the pair flipprd through channels. Sariah has the remote and is studiously ignoring her sister. The phone rang. Becky (being closest) picked it up.

"Hello... uh huh... uh huh... Sariah, it's for you... something about anime..."

Perking right up and snatching the phone, Sariah blurted out "Why aren't they here yet!?!"

"Why aren't what here? What are you smoking Sariah?"

"Oh... it you Eddie. What are you calling me for? You never call me."

In the background, Becky laughed her but off.

"I _just_ wanted to let you know that there's no anime club meeting this week... but since your being so rude..."

"Ahhh! Sorry, I'm just waiting for something."

Sariah finished the conversation with Eddie all the while glaring daggers over her shoulder at her sister. Hanging up the phone, Sariah turned to Becky and sweetly said "Now you're going to die."

Lunging for the younger girl's throat (while said sister is still laughing her butt off), Sariah was stopped by a quiet knock at the door. Straightening up and catching her breath, Sariah warily made her way to the door. Opening it slowly, she peeked around the edge saying, "Hello?"

A cheerful Kamiya Kaoru greeted her with bag in hand. Behind her stood a timid Chiriko, a slightly embarrassed Ryouga, and a smiling Xellos with various pieces of luggage.

"Sorry we're late," said Kaoru. "Somehow, we ended up letting Ryouga give us directions."

The group looked confused as their host fell on the ground laughing and her sister just stared.
